Congratulations
JOANNE MACNAIR

2015 Recipient of the BC Section Skating
'CLUB COACH  of the YEAR'

To her students, Joanne Macnair is an inspiration and role model.  She has the ability to draw out the uniqueness of each of her skaters and inspire them to push to the height of their abilities.  Joanne has been coaching for 35 years, and has guided many skaters to top levels, and is now beginning to coach her student’s children! Many of her former students have gone on to become coaches, judges and officials with various clubs around the province.

Due to Joanne’s dedication, the Williams Lake Skating Club has seen a season like no other.  All of her senior competing skaters are at the top of their levels, and have medaled in every competition they attended this year.  As well, in the past 3 years she has seen her skater’s attain top 5 in the provincial placements each year.
